The Value of a Stylus for E-book Readers
and Other Touch Screens
The picture on the left shows the screen size of a Kindle e-book reader.
As you can see it is quite small so selecting text or using your finger to touch small text or menu items on the screen can be difficult.
A stylus point can make it easier to make a selection since it has a much smaller screen footprint than a finger.
The stylus package shown on the left comes with extra points of two different types. These can also be used with some touch screens to draw pictures and write. There are a fairly wide variety of stylus with a wide price range. The package at the right is a middle to upper range at about $15.
